Record sales for Twilight graphic novel! (Y. .. si)
Remember this post ? According to the Yankee manga publisher Yen Press, the graphic novel (manwa since the artist is Korean) Twilight, sold 66,000 copies in the United States in its first week. This is how the publisher boasts of having the highest selling comic in a week comiquera history. Also it is clear that the first print run was 350,000 copies, being also a printed record .. god XD leading this madness!
remember that the artist in question is Young Kim, and adapts the work of the author Stephenie Meyer. The first shot came on 16 March and still no dates for the second volume. Ah, of course, the first book in the series, Twilight, will be adapted in two volumes with some black and white pages to color. Seeing the success that is surely little volumes will come a few more for the rest of the books.
I have really wanted to read, to see if this adaptation is more faithful to the movies. And indeed, hopefully make an anime XD (sisi, it's that crazy I am, sorry)
